Pros
The opportunities are endless for learning and growth. Coming from a much smaller organization, I didn't think that I would fit in but my leaders saw something special in me and gave me opportunities to do things that I never would have thought possible. There is a lot of change going on and the business is going through a transformation. Many of us have never been through this, but with challenges comes growth. I can truly say that I have seen and heard conversations from our senior leaders, and they do care about our employees and the success of this company. Hard decisions have to be made at times, but I don't question their integrity which is important to me. We are a results driven organization, but we also put emphasis on how we get there. I am confident that our leaders understand that success comes from our people, and we have to take care of them. Investing in resources to help us improve our efforts in efficiencies, communications, technology, compliance, and our people show a commitment to move in the right direction. We have all been screaming that we need these changes in order to do our jobs better. It can be a painful process, but I understand we have to do it or things will never be better. We know there were mistakes made, but the thing that keeps me going is that our Senior leaders take accountability and are focused on heading in the right direction. There is hope in our future, because what we do, does matter. And the people that work for us, matter. Its all important.
Cons
Fast changing environment and the work life balance isn't the best. You have to really love what you do, so it doesn't feel like work all the time.
