Corporate management does not have accurate management over regional managers in some cases. I experienced in-fighting and resistance by regional staff to hiring and policies trying to be initiated by Upper Management. There are "cowboys" in regional management that actually bully staff that were hired by corporate and get "even" with experienced staff that have more knowledge than they do. I have even seen managers circumventing sound hiring procatices corporate may be initiating by offering waitresses jobs while they are having a meal. HR did not properly support staff complaints about bullying tactics of regional management.
