      It All Depends On Your Boss..

      Pros

      -Great career growth. -This company is run like a well oiled machine. They know what they are doing and it is no question as to why they are successful in this industry. -They trust their employees to make decisions.

      Cons

      -It all depends on your boss. The last one I had was just a complete nightmare that many people left. -If you don't want to work in off-price product this is not the company for you. Steve Madden does most of its business this way.

      Pros

      If you put your mind to it you will be able to move up, fun environment, great place to get your foot into retail, outlet isn't commission but retail is, fast paced!

      Cons

      Long hours occasionally, depending on location bad traffic, shoes can sometimes been low quality which can hinder sales, sales aren't always beneficial to store

      Pros

      Employees receive 50% off of merchandise and commission on sales. The company fosters a positive work environment and management works well with the team to keep everyone motivated to hit sales goals. There are also incentives, like receiving free shoes for the season to promote what's currently available.

      Cons

      Entry-level at the sales associate position pays minimum wage, however, the company tries to make up for that by also giving commission of your individual sales. It is also a requirement to wear a current season of any Steve Madden brand shoe while working and sometimes the shoes are less than comfortable.
