      Poor local management and "boys' club" atmosphere

      supportive co-workers; helpful, knowledgeable support staff; personal accountability throughout the firm; firm has clean regulatory record; small size of firm (relative to industry peers) translates to direct access to management and executive - level decision makers

      pay is substantially below industry standards; limited opportunities for advancement; lack of structured professional development program(s); "boys' club" culture/atmosphere; inconsistent management on a regional level; noticeable lack of women in management positions

      Pros

      People at all levels are very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as, being very friendly. Research is second to none. Pay and benefits are good.

      Cons

      Technology is antiquated Field support is minimal Management is spread way to thin due to rapid growth Name recognition is low.

      Pros

      The home office support is wonderful however it appears that some department are limited in hiring more support to meet the growing firm.

      Cons

      The particular branch have trouble communicating and does not exude acceptable management behavior. There is little effort in providing a positive atmosphere in the work environment. There nothing done to improve employee satisfaction and retention. I believe there power struggle being a decentralized firm without the proper training.
