Pros

Great pay and benefits, catered lunches, the office operations team is super helpful and always available, they do try and make the experience fun with little gifts/events here and there. The people they recruit are great

Cons

It's a glorified customer service position. They won't tell you, but there's an EXTREMELY high turnover and their numbers matter more than their work environment - feels like you're walking on eggshells all the time. Productivity numbers are unrealistic and they definitely have favorite employees. If you're not in their favorites, they'll find a reason to fire you. There's little transparency and they don't hold all employees up to the same standards if they're in a different sub-category of the department.

Pros

flexible hours, great work/life balance because of its flexibility, discount, pay is decent considering work.

Cons

some leads are on a power trip and meddle in everything you do and call it "feedback" while they are on their high horse. They don't share your actual metrics but they can obviously see what your numbers are and always want to manage how you get them up without actually telling you what they are. NOt to mention the metrics they require are always at risk because of fit and sizing, which is always off due to inventory issues but they don't adjust your metrics even if this happens. There is little opportunity to move up because management wants you to fit their mold and they play favorites, plus no openings for higher positions. They talk about being transparent but don't give you straight answers about all of these issues. They say feedback is everything but rarely if ever ask stylists to give direct feedback about their leads. Frequent Tb with your lead but all seems fluffy and a waste of time. Seems like they teach leads to be vague when talking about all of these issues but be overly meddling in your work.
