Paid the bills - barely.

Pros

Flexible hours, can be fun, met some nice people.

Cons

Communication between stylists and upper management was shut down after complaints about work hours saturated the feed. Styling software is constantly being altered, causing slow styling, confusion, and lots of glitches that impact stylists negatively while speed and quality metrics remain rigid. Inventory DOES NOT match the marketing Stitch Fix advertises with, which is frustrating to stylists and clients. Plus and Petite sizing is incredibly limited in color, pattern, shape, style, and price, which is a shame because we have tons of interested clients that don't stay long.

Pros

Creative, fashion-related, only 15 hrs a week with room to to do more if desired and remote.

Cons

Keep rates, time per fix, budget all very hard KPI's to meet. Styling mostly middle aged ladies. No awareness or plans to address sustainability or quality concerns of products, Inventory and tech issues frequent.

Pros

Work from home. 40% Discount if you need something random and basic for your real job (though it's still ridiculously expensive)

Cons

So they've now eliminated the only way we could communicate with each other and share what the Clients feel about our overpriced grandma clothing and the only place we can express our disdain for the terrible policy changes. All hail the supreme leader Stitch Fix. Also, They claimed they couldn't give us raises due to the pandemic etc, but they proceeded to hire 4500+ Stylists after firing 1400 in CA. AND hiring a ton of new Leadership rather than promoting from within. Take the job if you need quick income, but don't expect anything to come from this company - they're souless and no better than any other corporation now.
