Pros

I loved building relationships with my clients. My team leader was amazing, and I felt like I was really part of a team. When the inventory was great (about 40% of the time), styling the Fixes was a lot of fun. I also loved that I was able to set my own schedule based on my availability, and the company's guidelines.

Cons

About two or three months after I was hired, I received a raise. It was noted that they gave me the raise to match the Southern California market/wages. I thought, "Wow, it's great that they're looking into making sure their employees are paid fairly". Well, 5 months later, I was laid off via email along with the rest of the Southern California employees. The reason that was given? To hire employees in lower-wage areas. We were given the opportunity to move, but only if we reapplied for the job and were rehired.

Stylist part time

Pros

You can work remotely and set your own hours (when the system works properly). Easy to fit in around another full time job

Cons

This company is a mess. They constantly have errors preventing stylists from pulling fixes. This week (the 3rd week in a row they’ve had these errors constantly) they said that if you are unable to pull fixes that you just have to log out after 1.5 hours of non styling time for the whole week. Meaning you aren’t getting paid for your 15 hours due to errors inside the company that are not stylists fault. You only get 2 weeks of UNPAID time off per year and there’s no benefits for part time.
