Pros

You couldn't ask for better coworkers than our team. People are smart, friendly, interesting, not overly stressed out. There's a lot of knowledge sharing and a healthy amount of joking around. There's also a lot of freedom to work on problems that interest you, and to have significant control over the direction of your projects. It's pretty easy to have big business impact. I've been here quite a while and am still having a good time. There are also general perks like 4 month paid maternity and paternity leave, unlimited vacation, and not overly long hours.

Cons

There are times when it's a little too corporate-y. But I think that's a little inevitable at our size, and I think management is really well-intentioned and tries hard to make the company a positive place to work (and succeeds, for the most part).

Mark my words, the company is failing.

Pros

There used to be a lot of pros. Now the only pro is ability to manage schedule in a very flexible way. They are also very vocal about diversity and inclusion.

Cons

I'm mad, so hang in there. They have cracked down in the last year (after another wave of lay-offs of course), regarding metrics and quotas. They are HEAVILY quota driven now. You can tell that they are feeling the pain of a failing company and trying to push people out by setting unrealistic expectations. I worked here for YEARS, and only in the last year has it been horrendous. Inventory is redundant and tight, so clients get pissed, then they tell stylists to take accountability for it, and punish your metrics. People are in a recession, and not paying $70 for a damn shirt (which is $8 at Ross btw). My previous lead was SO sweet and dedicated to her job and willing to help with ways to better yourself (she was laid off while on maternity leave), the one I have now is a micro-manager on a power trip and gives probably close to zero helpful advice.

Pros

This job is fully remote. You have the ability to work from home. Never have to go into an office.

Cons

No longer Flexible. This job used to be setting your own hours any time of day. Didn't matter when you work as long as you get the job done. As of August 2021, you now need to set your schedule to the minute up to 2 weeks in advance. However, 2 days before the week starts you are given your expectations for the week. You are to plan and set schedules for 20 hours and could be given less than 5. You have no guarantees. Been trained for over a year to be moved into a management position to now be told they may not be able to do that anymore because of the new rules.
