Pros

You can set your own schedule, FT has decent benefits, paid holidays

Cons

The most monotonous job ever. Imagine working on the most boring task you’ve ever encountered for 10-15 minutes…imagine doing that on repeat for 8 hours a day. This is supposed to be a “styling service” yet the inventory does not reflect anything current or trendy. Inventory in itself is horrible. When you’re styling a Fix you are often faced with one pullover in about 9 different colors and maybe two other top options. The men’s variety is a joke. How can I style someone with that? Also this company preaches about size inclusivity, but when you try to style a plus-sizes Fix you typically have 0-5 top options available with often times no bottom options at all. If you’re interested in growth within the company…forget about it. They’ll have you take zoom calls to “learn more about growth opportunities” then do literally nothing about it. They’d rather hire some random person off the street with zero styling or management experience to be their leads. My final thoughts on this mess of a company, you’re expected to be at 100% efficiency at all times, even if THEIR styling platform is down, which is fairly frequently. If you can’t style, you have to clock out and lose hours. Or if you stay clocked in because, ya know, you have bills to pay and mouths to feed, and your efficiency slips, you will not be considered for raises, promotions, etc. Why would anyone want to work for a place like that???

Pros

Flexibility in hours (although seems this is now gone), Fully remote, Great benefits, Good discount

Cons

There is no transparency. You can’t speak out or connect with other employees. You can get written up for “offending” leadership unintentionally. True story. It’s best you keep quite and follow directions like a good child. Your direct supervision never has enough info to truly guide you, they are as much in the dark as the rest of the stylist. Micromanaging and condescending. They claim to care about you but their actions speak otherwise. You are under constant scrutiny and fear of losing your job. Don’t even think about innovating or being efficient, they will smack it down and then implement the idea as their own later on. And let’s not even talk about how shady their actions were during the pandemic. They assure everyone jobs are secure and then fire the entire California team. Toxic and demeaning environment overall. Would NOT recommend.

Pros

I love to style fix’s for clients, love to be creative everyday and love the work from home aspect.

Cons

They change our weekly hours with only 1 days notice. They took away the flexible scheduling, which was a huge perk, we don’t get enough time to thoughtfully style a fix. Feels like they are replacing us with the algorithm. Stylists are always the ones who take the brunt of budget cuts, ex. laid off all CA stylists (even ones who’ve been with them since the beginning) because they could pay people less in other states.
