Cons

The biggest con I'd like to really dive into here is the lack of inventory. SF, you place so many expectations on us Stylists and we have to meet so many metrics (which many don't even make a whole lot of sense to any of us), yet you fail to give us the TOOLS we desperately need to do our jobs correctly. Let us liken this scenario to that of a home builder. One of his most needed tools is the hammer, right? Let us pretend that HIS boss isn't keeping up with the tool inventory and the home builder is without a hammer. He's going to have a much harder time doing his job without this valuable tool. Sure, he can still "technically" use other items to nail those (well, nails) such as a brick or maybe a shovel, BUT, the job won't be done as well or efficiently without the hammer, period. Cheesy comparison? Yes, but hopefully you understand where I'm going with this. If you guys are not giving us what WE need as far as inventory goes in order to meet our Client's requests and needs, then we aren't able to do our very best because you aren't providing us with the tools we need. Sure, if all of my clients want straight fitting, flowy tops with a billion prints...we're good to go. BUT most of my clients are in their 30s and professional women who prefer fitted, smart tops to wear with a gorgeous pencil skirt or dress pants. Try finding a fitted top...I'll wait. My point is....it is NOT fair to the Stylists who are at the FOREFRONT of this company who deal with our Clients day in and day out, to not give them what they need and then punish them and put even more ridiculous pressure on them when we don't have much to choose from. PLEASE do better. You're only give us a little bit of time to do each Fix and not a lot to do it with.

Having the best inventory for our clients is something we will always be working on. We have an ever-expanding client base who we constantly learn from and evolve our inventory to meet the needs of, so definitely not a cheesy comparison, as we hear you and understand what you’re explaining. Thank you for this feedback, we appreciate the clever analogy!
