Pros

Ability to create own schedule with at least 15 hours a week, meaningful client interactions and creativity.

Cons

Unpaid time off (2 weeks) I know of no other company who caps vacation at 2 weeks for unpaid time off for hourly employees. Not only that, but it doesn't roll over!! Ridiculous. Job performance is heavily based on metrics which are affected by poor inventory (beyond a stylists control). When your metrics dip because of this, you go into a coaching plan. No additional incentives for tenured employees who consistently meet or exceed expectations. Flexible work is based solely on the fact that you work from home, or wherever. People with a Full-Time job really should not even try to do this part-time if you want a work-life balance.

Pros

Work from home Autonomy; no required interactions or in person events except interview and training Part-time Mind-free work Easy work

Cons

Huge swings in Fix requirements per week Incompetent management Flexibility is slowly being eliminated from position If you don’t use emoticons in your emails, everyone thinks you’re being mean Every all-hands call is UNBEARABLE - styling management frequently uses UMs and LIKEs throughout presentations which distracts from content Management comes across as dysfunctional and incredibly cliquey - to top it off - special snowflakes Very much an “everyone is special” environment 100% unprofessional If you’re discovered to have a brain, your direct supervision becomes threatened

Pros

- Free food on Tuesdays, 40% off your Fix, Happy hours on rare occasions

Cons

- You think they're a company that upholds the value of feedback and effective communication...they are NOT! Literally just all surface talk and when it comes down to it at the end of the day, they're not clear, not forward and will let you go out of the blue! No demerit, write ups. Unclear with how your specific progress is. And even If you make progress, they don't credit you. - It's a macro driven company that wants you to personalize each bit of communication w/ a client. There is a huge quota of emails you respond to. - Management has you on a see-saw constantly telling you to rely on the macros, don't be automatic, stick to the macros, be more conversational. It's terrible. - Parking is about to not be paid for entirely anymore. - Feedback moments are like living a Hallmark movie because everyone is super emotional and fluffy. "It makes me feel ___ when you do ___." - There are like only a handful of men, so it's not diverse and even as a woman, there is not an even balance of men to women. - No road to promotion in place, that's self driven. There aren't more leadership positions needed. Really a dead end customer service job despite what they say in the interviews. Do not believe them. - They'll say that you can pick your schedule. Well you can't, so don't even try because they will scoff at you.
