Not crazy about the job but thankful to work from home
Pros
I get to be at home and work at my own pace with my own schedule, love the flexibility. The pay rate is pretty decent too!
Cons
There's so much more work than just styling. Every time you get the hang of something they relaunch it. There are constant touch bases which are extra time (and pay!) and many lengthy emails to read. I wish it were a simple remote part-time position but this one demands quite a bit. PT receives zero benefits, we used to earn a decent amount of sick time which was nice because most of us are stay-at-home parents, but they whacked it more than half so you have to work two weeks to earn (barely) an hour of sick time. Also, you need a tough skin with clients feedback. They don't always realize you're just a stylist and not a personal shopper. Can't really blame them though.. SF has these quizzes for them to take but as a stylist you're not allowed to see what they give a thumbs up too so when they request those items (which is often) you have to beat around the bush with them and take your best guess at what 'blue shirt with flowers' they're talking about. (womp, womp)
