Pros

It is a very good product that is generally respected nationally.

Cons

The company invests ZERO into technology improvements. Tons of manual processes. As a TM, you are required to do an incredible amount of administrative work while maintaining an aggressive quota. There is zero automation of tasks. Quote creation. Product Shipping. Monthly billing. Scheduling and Payment of the installation crews, etc all while being hounded daily about sales. The TM is the scape goat. The admins do very little yet they are worshipped. The organization as a whole is anti sales. They want the money but they don’t want to help you make the money. Awful sales job.

Pros

Training provided is very good.

Cons

Stonhard promotes itself as a supplier and installer of epoxy flooring. In fact it is just a supplier, the installers are not their own and simply put on Stonhard T-Shirts when installing. Jobs are sold on supply and install basis with a fixed price always higher than the competition. The managers have a system of over quoting the materials then removing them after the job is complete and selling the material on the side to private contractors or the installers themselves. This not on a small scale but sometimes very large jobs and skids of material are removed with a minimal amount returned to the warehouse. This is a very common practice within the company and if you question it you are fired. Great opportunity for a second income if you are ok with doing that.
