      A Company I could retire with!

      Pros

      I am in my mid 30's and have been with the company for 10 years. I chose this job because you were not stuck with one duty day in and day out. You are a sales rep and a project manager, a very hands on position that allows you to stay in control and see a project from start to finish. I have found that this allows for the opportunity to develop a strong relationships with the customer which in turn grows a book of business. Stonhard has provided many tools for success in assisting with the sales and project installation side and are always actively trying to provide more. A great place to work if you are willing to put in the work!

      Cons

      Reflecting back, I took the advise of a 30 +year employee at the time, he said, "Give this job 3 years and you won't find a better company out there". The first 3 years were tough, challenging and often very frustrating. You are learning the products, learning to manage your time and learning to be a project manager. Stonhard asks allot of you, but the reward is for those that stick it out.

      Great company to work for!

      Pros

      Very respected organization, with an excellent product. Great work atmosphere and excellent flexibility. Their schedule flexibility is great for new, growing or already established families with busy schedules. The people who work here are great, very friendly and have formed a community amoungst themselves. Salary is not great, but the great benefits and employee relations make it worth it.

      Cons

      Upper management has incredible tenure, without plans to retire. Keeps their circle very tight and do not create much of an opportunity for growth and development within the departments. If you want to grow within this company you either need to have family in upper management or play your hand very well in office politics. Salary isn't very high, but the benefits and work atmosphere make up for a some of it.

      Pros

      Stonhard continues to be an industry leader for the polymer flooring industry and strives to grow the business with hard workers. The environment in the work place is great with great attitudes of all employees. Big business with a small family type feel. Company outings and gatherings boost company moral.

      Cons

      Not necessarily a negative but a sales driven company so everything is fast paced and priorities can change by the hour.
