Pros

flexible schedule, great pay, overtime, great coworkers, paid vacations and health benefits for part time workers, discount on groceries, great place for customer relations.

Cons

part time workers get an average of less than 20, sometime 15 hours a week since the minimum is 12 hours. The more you get paid, the least hours you get, no room for advancement, no such thing as seniority

Pros

It appears Stop n Shop will hire anyone, on the spot. You can start fast, and if you have incredible flexibility, you can work all sorts of odd hours. If you are trying to work part time, but have other responsibilities, don't count on a regular schedule of a full 20 hours a week.

Cons

expect erratic hours, less than 20 hours scheduled, little to no contact with a manager or supervisor, and minimal training
