Pros

The only pro was the opportunity to learn how to manage an immense workload under extreme pressure. Some colleagues at the non-managerial level are talented and supportive.

Cons

My experience at this company was deeply concerning, culminating in my position being eliminated without any prior performance issues or warnings shortly after I returned from a legally protected short-term disability leave. This experience is indicative of a broader management culture that lacks concern for employee wellbeing. Key issues include: * **Unsustainable Workload:** The company operates with a severe lack of staff, and the expectation is that employees will consistently perform the work of two to three people. There is no strategic plan to address this, leading to inevitable and rapid burnout. * **Unrealistic Deadlines:** Management sets overlapping and often impossible deadlines, creating a high-stress environment where there is no time to properly grasp concepts or learn the nuances of the role. * **Inadequate Training:** The onboarding and training process was incomplete. Managers often omit critical details or steps, setting new hires up for failure or unclear processes. You are not given the tools or knowledge to succeed, but you are held accountable when tasks are not completed properly as a result. * **Lack of Empathy:** The culture actively discourages taking necessary time off. In one instance, the use of bereavement seemed far fetched because the lack of coverage of tasks. Time-off was almost impossible in the accountant/ treasury role because of lack of backup and revolving deadlines. This demonstrates a fundamental lack of regard for employees as human beings. * **Compensation:** The pay does not remotely reflect the excessive workload, the high level of stress, and the expectation to be constantly available.

Pros

Aim for mid range of salaries for all roles. Decent work life balance. Decent team culture. If there's space, they will promote. Thankfully toned down the progressive HR DEI lecturing.

Cons

Heard from top performers pay is relatively capped. Since it's PE, a lot of jobs are going to the India office to maximize that $$$$. No opportunity for equity unless in leadership, which lowers motivation. Top talent will likely look for opportunities elsewhere once they reach a growth ceiling as other companies pay more.
