Pros

The culture at STORD is incomparable. The work is fun and challenging. I have worked at many different kinds of companies in the past. I was always missing the autonomy and challenge that I desired. Now, I have a new project every week that has huge impacts across the firm. I don't have anyone micromanaging or looking over my shoulder so I feel like my opinion is truly valued and my background is respected. Everyone here has an amazing energy. There are obviously going to be bad apples anywhere but the leadership team has been fantastic at recognizing issues and tackling them proactively.

Cons

The pay may not be top of the market but that is understandable at an early stage start-up. If you are going to join STORD, you have to understand that the pay isn't the reason to join, it is the opportunity. There is exponential career growth potential here. If you can display that you are willing to do the work and will personally develop to make the entire team successful, you can make your career into what you want it to be. But it is HARD work. You cannot come to this company and slack off because it will be obvious very quickly. Everyone here is entrepreneurial-minded and is willing to grind to make their goals happen.

Pros

-High growth -Great office environment / culture The sales team is dissimilar to any sales structure I've seen. Every person has a specific role to play and the collaborative environment that emphasizes working together to solve high level supply chain riddles makes working on this business development team an experience unlike any other. I've worked several jobs where sometimes there's a notion of "it's either my way or the highway," but with STORD, if your suggestion truly helps the company then the founders have made it abundantly clear that your thoughts deserve to be acknowledged. The management team does a great job in establishing that no one is above another and that every voice should be heard equally. When you pair that sort of culture with no egos, you have the luxury of multiple minds working towards one common goal which in STORD's case at the moment is high growth. Overall 8.5 / 10 so far.

Cons

You are expected far more of than what your job title dictates (as with any high growth start-up). Working for STORD isn't for people who want to coast through a job.
