Pros
Coworkers (below director for the most part) are incredible, smart, gifted, and care deeply about their work.
Cons
Leadership is scatterbrained and rarely demonstrate the standards of work they demand from everyone else. Favoritism is bad bad. Also - they jettisoned DEI work the second it got challenging. We all know that old quote - "do the right thing, unless it's hard and might make online trolls mad, then no worries". Not surprising but disappointing nonetheless. And deeply upsetting to the fairly diverse workforce they've built while adhering to those standards (awkwarddddddd). Even their idea of what Strava is and who it's for seems to change on the reg. I can't actually tell what we're for and what we're against, except that we seem to be for making money and against other people making more money. When you lack a "why", you go public all you want, but it's going to be absolutely brutal shortly thereafter. Good luck with career advancement, too. If you're good at your job, it's virtually a guarantee they'll hire someone with your exact title plus the prefix "Senior" to slide in over top of you and trap you indefinitely.
