Pros
Number one pro, by far, is the team! Everyone is very smart, highly competent in their roles, and the overall culture is one of collaboration and open discussion. One of our core values is to "Assume Good Intent and Ability" and we really honor that with each other. Plus, people just get a long. Behind the back politics and treating people poorly is not tolerated, at any level in the organization. The management also very deeply cares about the happiness of the employees, in addition to wanting to build a successful company, and provide able means for employees to contribute to corporate planning, requesting changing to benefits, etc. And, given that the initial team had solid experience in building companies, while we are a start-up, we're very processes orientated and act like a bigger company in that way. So decisions are not made willy-nilly and the right structure has been put in place to help the company grown. And lastly, we're selling a product that customers really love. It's a great feeling to have such happy customers and to have such a great reception to our sales efforts. Makes everything more fun.
Cons
No major ones. Company is starting to grow more aggressively this year, so there may be some hiccups at the team gets a lot larger.
