      There are no pros to share.

      Cons

      The lack of direction and business strategy is astonishing. If you don't value people's professions, then why should anyone work here? I got hired with the expectation that I could bring value to Stride but instead was constantly left in limbo. There was no communication from higher-level management on what our goals needed to be or any systems put in place to meet said goals. Never would I recommend a designer, a researcher, a UX strategist, or any related professionals to work for Stride. The CEO is anti-user experience, anti-teacher, anti-employee, and PRO profit only.

      Pros

      Great team. Great supervisor...but they can only do what the CEO allows them to do.

      Cons

      Very top down. Being run to the ground by the CEO who is trying to branch out into new products by hiring, and months later, firing people to bring them to life. No market research or any real analysis in developing the corporate strategy. Money is being siphoned away from the core business, resulting in multiple rounds of layoffs, to support the new ventures. Someone else already wrote it but its true....the CEO cares about two things...himself and money 9but, really, only HIS money).

      Work from home Only demanding due to red tape and bureaucracy; otherwise the job itself is easy Nothing else

      Cons

      Over reliance on outside contractors and consultants that waste our time and charge the company a lot more money than our salaries Management only does things because they are scared of what their bosses will say Priorities change hourly The 401K match is a joke
