Pros

After working there for a while you develop a sort of Stockholm Syndrome and almost forget how poorly you’re being treated.

Cons

The culture of Stripe is toxic. The expectations are absurd. You will consistently be over worked by lazy managers and threatened by HR if you question the legalities of their labor practices. Leadership puts on a performative act about how much they care while allowing management to abuse employees constantly.

Good product idea Strong portfolio Lots of market potential

Cons

Leadership is very weak. Many senior eng and program management leaders have weak technical and business backgrounds. Lack credibility with the grass roots. Of course, these weak leaders surround themselves with other weak leaders and so on. Many senior leaders need to be replaced. Company does not operate with integrity. Employees can be fired for breaking random 'Stripe principles' (fairly fluffy and hard to measure). It's their way of dealing with anyone questioning the status quo.
