      High compensation but nothing beyond that.

      Cons

      Stripe is the worst company you can work for. Cofounder are not matured enough. A lot of reorgs. Review system is brutal. Long working hours. Everything is bad. High compensation to kill you in the spot. Don't go there.

      Pros

      Chaos brings opportunity and there are many places to contribute. This place is not static. There is a lot of opportunity to learn and most of what you pick up can be taken to your next role.

      Cons

      Significant disconnect between leadership and IC. People tend to burn out quickly, depending on team. Work life balance is limited, “work hard, smart, and long”. Negotiate hard. Recruiters will say there’s no wiggle room but will give it you’re persistent.
