Beware of sexism

Pros

Great salary, free food, flexible PTO

Cons

Leadership is a mess and constantly changes direction. Directly impacting engineering projects and productivity. Difficult to really accomplish anything. A lot of people are just getting by with minimal effort. Leadership seems to turn a blind eye and continues to pay them to contribute nothing. You won't have a voice if you're a female. You get walked all over and people have higher expectations of you than your male counterpart.

Pros

- Good stock options - Great bonuses and pay structure - Talent

Cons

- Biased attitude for employees submitting videos of how their Managers are awesome. If you don't submit them you will be treated differently in many ways over the course of time and not given the due credit for your work. Instead these Managers will make sure they find a way to show your work as someone else's who submitted those videos. - I was forced to resign during covid after delivering an intensively hard project and there was no exit interview at any point. - Managers take advantage of their powers anytime because HR supports them by not having exit interviews.

Pros

good people good perks challenging work for the most part but end of day youre still working in the payments industry

Cons

work life balance has only gotten worse over time execs seem happy to burn through employees since there are new applicants they can replace them with. at an all company presentation they even showed the number of people who left and noted that of those who left last quarter, they only cared about retaining one! only a few voices are heard due to tons of politics at the top - so much about who you know and see over the weekends, remotes are at a huge disadvantage low compensation compared to industry unnecessary hierarchy preventing people from doing good work (where were no layers, in two months there are now four)
