Pros

Slackers don't last long. You can't just hide out, do the bare minimum, and expect a paycheck. The best part about this is that you can trust that your peers are going to pull their weight. Great teamwork environment. As a manager, I am judged by results. While there is pressure to perform, I am given the latitude to manage without constant second-guessing or micromanagement.

Cons

The company is really good at R&D and sales. The supply chain is stuck in the mid 90's.

Pros

There is a unique culture which makes this an ideal place to work. There is a tremendous amount of pride in what people do and never lose sight of the fact we are helping peoples lives. Management has always been a upside and everyone is able to do their jobs without a supervisor looking over their shoulder.

Cons

The major complaint is that with all the work and scope of responsibility the compensation is on the lower side. This is okay for awhile, but recent salary increases can not even keep up with yearly inflation.
