      Pros

      Very profitable and stability in a high demand industry. Very diverse with a lot of opportunity to move around. They growth from within and offer good support. Are always in the Top 10 of good employees to work for.

      Cons

      Make sure you really like working in the medical equipment industry. There is a lot of management changes and reorganizations.

      Pros

      *Work - life balance - changing 80% of the way there. *Benefits - excellent (including health insurance & great 401k match) *Building DEandI - changing. Over the years have had very little diversity, similar "type" managers and up. *Top notch products - development of new and best of the best products

      Cons

      *Competitive Men to Women salary in similar roles (changing) A marketable wage is feasible if you leave and come back or start elsewhere and have a negotiable comparable *"yes men" - challenging an activity seems frowned upon *Behind - Stryker is at least 10 years behind comparable corporations in business processes and technology (not product). The decentralization "competition" that built the company to what it is today has created multiple challenges for current employees.
