Amazing strengths-based culture. Mission and Values are aligned across the enterprise. Integrity is universal. I have never worked in an organization with a culture that is consistent from senior leadership down to hourly colleagues. If you are not willing to hold integrity as your number one value, you will not fit.

Cons

If you are not comfortable with change, and not able to evolve with the needs of the business, you may be frustrated.

A Contract to Hire Success Story - Three Years Later

My last post was in January of 2015, after I had been an employee for six months. I have now celebrated my three year anniversary with Stryker which inspired me to revisit that post and share this update. Under "Pros" in 2015 I called out the culture of "bright driven" people. Now as then, I see this as a significant factor in making Stryker a "great place". Absolutely no regrets in joining Stryker, and I continue to encourage friends, family, and former colleagues to join.

Cons

Under "Cons" I pointed to the challenges of dealing with the silos in process and technology created by Stryker's growth through acquisition. Stryker Leadership has been addressing this directly and aggressively, and have implemented initiatives that will dramatically improve the way we operate and the ease with which our customers do business with us. Exciting times.

Hardworking driven individuals with the goal to do great things in healthcare.

Cons

Has this vision of employee well being that appears to be great but is lacking in many areas. On site cafeteria has the feel and food quality of a public school. Poor vacation benefits. Poor work life balance and "flex" scheduling options. Very typical 8-5 company. Health/Dental insurance policy is the worst I ever had in my 20+ year career. Invest in your design team and create a better brand.
