Bullying aggressive managers

Pros

Free parking , clean lunch room

Cons

After seeing a employee being physically assaulted and harassed by a senior manager over a long period of time we as an entire workforce have lost faith in our current management team. The company attempted to retrench the victim and keep the perpetrator. He now suffers from a workplace injury. We have all made enquiries about our colleague and have only be led astray with falsehoods. I have personally seen the disgraceful emails sent to him by a particular manager threatening his employment for speaking up to the authorities about the bullying and assault he has received. How can any of us go to upper management with a problem if they protect managers that assault their staff.

We recognize we have experienced some turnover challenges the past two years. Following recent changes to our Operational management staff this year, we have put an increased focus on finding the right people with strong manufacturing skill sets and positive attitudes. Our efforts are showing proven results as we have decreased our average monthly turnover the last 3 months by over 20\%! We are headed in the right direction but always working to improve.Management's constant presence on the floor and efforts to support the staff's professional growth and promote from within show their dedication to the organization and this year we added 2 paid holidays including Christmas Eve to better promote work life balance and the family values that we believe in. We appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve. Thank you for your service to Studco, we hope you find your next opportunity to be a better fit for you!

Pros

There use to be so many pros. Not anymore

Cons

As an employee I have to say how very disappointed I am in the current management team. I watched as others did as a former employee was continually harrased, verbally and physically assaulted by another manager. I had no issues in reporting this to the management team and even wrote to the company owner to intervene and protect this employee as I saw him as a great asset to the maintenance team and really nice bloke. Instead the company tried to terminate his employment for being the victim. It amazes me when shop floor staff lay one finger on someone else they take immediate action, when it's a manager they fight to protect him. The senior manager kept his job proving that the company approves of his actions. As a long term employee it is now time for me to seek alternate employment. This place has gone to the dogs.
