Pros

The people there were wonderful to work with. I was in a small department and we all worked well together.

Cons

The management that I worked under were all a bunch of cronies that came from another company together. They slowly weeded out employees over 50 and replaced them with a bunch of clone like 20 somethings, all males. The top crony was a foul mouthed man who at any other company would have been demoted for it but somehow at SP he was rewarded. I saw the same in other departments, the meaner and nastier you were the more they liked you.

Pros

Close to home, I did like my branch manager.

Cons

Low wages, outdated procedures, no room for advancement. My personal branch had very difficult co-workers. ECE program was my main reason for leaving.

Pros

You will receive an hour lunch, you will be compensated for any overtime needed to complete tasks and/or projects, employee propane and oil discount, Suburban throws holiday parties, and the office staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cons

The company sets you up for failure. The sales goals are high and your raises and bonuses are contingent upon you meeting your budget. You will receive a lot of work to do out of general customer service for the same pay rate. You will see that the employees in the corporate office are treated better than the customer service center employees.
