Pros

free 6 inch unlimited drinks free chips or a drink for lunch time goes by relatively fast on busy days tips every week

Cons

•given too many tasks - if theres less than 2 ppl working, except to be on ALL sections (bread/meat/cheese/register/drinks/ect.) •workspace is too small- 4 people at the front is fine; anything more and youll bump into eachother a lot, causing you to hurt someone, drop food, or burn yourself in the oven •(my own personal experience) if you hurt yourself in any way that causes blood, you have to keep working. - i cut my finger on the bread during rush hour, pathced it up, asst. manager put me back on the front line to continue handling food. i wouldve been fine with it if the gloves were thicker or more tear resistant, but juices from pickles seep in. i was really uncomfortable handling food from there on out. they didnt even let me on the register.

Pros

I enjoy most of the customers and my co-workers are usually enjoyable as well. The work that needs to be done everyday doesn't change so all you need to do is ask what needs to be done after clocking in. Easy to learn job.

Cons

Subway will need the same things done everyday, no matter how much you want to catch up or prepare for next day. Subway is a team effort. When/if one shift slacks, it puts more pressure on the other shifts. Subway is not a job for lazy people. You are moving Constantly. You will never be caught up on a shift unless you are at a very slow store. You have to have excellent people skills to deal with the customers that come in daily. This job requires a lot mentally and is steady physical work. Not hard physical, but typically you will move the whole shift.
