Pros

The company is invested in making sure you get a full new higher experience. looking back they have set myself up in Boston to go through a week long experience to make sure we know who Suffolk is and what we do. They also fallow this up by continued education in the first 90 days to cover every department. Also manager a bought into this as it does take time away from your day to day job tasks witch is essential.

Cons

only con I can say is when you are in the main office they talk about how great the office is (and it is great), but for most people they will not be spending much time in the office. I think it just doesn't need to be advertised as much as they did unless you are going to be in the office day to day.

Pros

- Onboarding experience has been amazing, the CEO and other executives are a part of the experience which makes it even better. - With my extensive prior experience at other companies, this company is constantly trying to be innovative and intentional in every aspect of work

Cons

- This is not necessarily a bad con, the interview process was intense and long, however now being part of this company, I see the reason why, they hire amazing talented and intelligent people here.

Pros

Job security - $10 Billion in backlog work, America's Contractor - Veteran and Military friendly, opportunities to laterally and upward move to different areas within the company.

Cons

Suffolk removes as much pain as possible and provides plenty of opportunities to give back to it's employees, but working with different subs, unions etc. construction will never be painless.
