They don't keep promises in regards of a raise or promotion. Unless you are a good looking female or you scrub with upper management. The schedules are never made in advance or they are incorrect you never know when your off days are. Their is no communication between stores and upper management. As staff we have to lie to the customers regards of their alterations which are never done in 3days(one of the main rules of the company)upper management speaks behind your back in the store by speaking Dutch and looking or checking you out that's really rude! Store is understaffed and filled up with new employees who just come out of the training and hired for the new to open locations. And most of them have no retail nor tailored clothing experience!.

Compensation is terrible. Benefits are mediocre at best. Middle manager is the worst. I actually found emails between middle and lower management conspiring to doctor evaluation results to keep employees from receiving a bonus. Middle management gives store management no direction. In turn store management gives sales associates no direction. The training program is an exercise in futility and degradation. The store manager job is awarded to the person who shows the least amount of applicable skills in the entire building. If you are completely clueless about how retail management works you will go very far in this company. Management is just a game of blaming someone else when you do not do your job properly. The buying department doesn't stock the stores. Human resources lies to potential employees from day one. Upper management is clueless on how to run a company. Suitsupply is the only place where you can go from a completely unrelated field to middle management with no retail experience.
