Pros

Summit is a great company, with a great leader who sets the tone for success. They truly care about their employees, and invest in their professional development in a way I haven't seen at other companies. I learned so much working there, and the company truly cares about doing its work well and looking out for the best interest of its employees.

Cons

Some of the senior employees do not have a work-life balance, and expect the same of their subordinates, but for the most part it is a wonderful place to work.

At a company level, I believe they're working to determine the ROI of investing in their employees At a personal level, it was a great first job

Cons

Not unique to Summit, but big picture observation: great managers (people) that function under auspice of an outdated management approach (a drawback of an evolved liberal market economy)--the inadvertent outcome being limited potential (efficiency and effectiveness) of both their own staff capabilities (individual creative bounds), as well as their final work products This reasoning can be abstracted out to measure opportunity cost of not investing in your employees.
