Pros

Summit does a great job of allowing its employees to work from anywhere in the world and come and go into the office whenever they desire. The work Summit does is impactful on everyday Americans and you do feel a sense of purpose when you enjoy different projects.

Cons

The Summit culture has deteriorated due to the WFH "new normal." There is a tradeoff with compensation - lower pay with solid work/life balance. It depends on what you want from your job because there are many other consulting roles where you can get paid much better but work longer hours. Firm mission and overall work is more suited for higher-level people (Directors, Managers, Senior Consultants, etc.), rather than younger individuals.

Pros

Working at summit does give you great opportunities to work on high level government projects and advance you skills.

Cons

I have to agree with the comments above as well. The lack of female leadership and inability to promote and keep talented staff. -Lack of support for career advice, mentoring, job training from any type of management/leadership -Women are looked over time and time again for career advancement opportunities -Put too much work on junior staff and expect them to make up for the little work some of the managers do. -Very hard for women to move up at all, and only one female as a director. -very much bro culture
