      Pros

      The benefits are very good.

      Cons

      A bankers job at Summit is telesales. Underwriting loan decisions are arbitrary to the point of comical. Very little advancement opportunity if past the age of 35. Company does not share corporate performance or pay grade information with you. Operates more like a for-profit bank than a net for profit community financial institution.

      People were nice, loved all the training they provided.

      Struggled with internal progression despite being hired for my previous experience and potential for growth in the company.

      Summit Wants to see its employees grow and move up within the company

      Cons

      I wish branch managers had more training on things that tellers and bankers do daily. Being told to call someone else to learn something while helping a member isn't very helpful. It also keeps the member waiting..
