Pros

Summit Credit Union offers so many growth opportunities to its employees. As a manager I am thrilled to be a part of someone's journey in their career. Employees and member feedback is valued and Summit continues to make changes based on that feedback to positively impact everyone.

Cons

The only challenge I have had is that they are very different from banks so learning the culture has been different but not bad.

Mission-driven financial cooperative where you can find meaningful work with great people coming together for a positive impact in financial lives. Led by a game-changing, visionary CEO who also advocates for consumers nationally. It's fast paced, exciting and internal hiring is common. Financial education is available for all employees. Benefits are great --from birthday with pay to student loan payment support to great health insurance and a 401k match.

Cons

Sometimes fast paced to a fault -- meaning potential stretches where work volume is high and/or changes are quick -- the occasional down side of this innovative, leading and always improving credit union.
