Pros

I’ve picked up a lot just by being thrown into situations and figuring things out on my own. It’s satisfying when the work actually leads to something useful. Even though the day-to-day can get repetitive or mundane, there are still moments where I feel like I’ve made a difference.

Cons

It feels like fires are constantly being put out instead of actually fixing what’s causing them. Things are disorganized between sites and teams, and it slows everything down. There’s too much focus on pushing out new systems or features before fixing the basics. Training, clear processes, and better communication really need more attention. A lot of people aren’t even properly trained on the tools they’re expected to use, which just leads to more preventable issues. It feels like the approach right now is just to keep things barely running instead of making real improvements that would stop problems from happening in the first place.

Pros

I love working in the PCB industry because it combines my passion for electrical engineering with the opportunity to engage in creative problem-solving. The field allows me to design and develop electronic circuits, which I find both challenging and rewarding. Additionally, the collaborative nature of the work and the ability to contribute to the advancement of technology in our daily lives are what make this career fulfilling for me.

Cons

There's a lack of structure and direction, which could easily be address by implementing clearer guidelines and expectations. For starters, compensation and incorporating assembly. Culture, work life balance, and executive leadership involvement are all things that could be improved at Summit.

Pros

What I value most about working at Summit. For me, it's the opportunity to work alongside such a wonderful group of coworkers. They are incredibly helpful, kind, and hardworking individuals who always go above and beyond. Their constant support and dedication make a positive difference every day, and I truly appreciate being part of such a great team. I also find that I learn so much from them on a daily basis, and that continuous growth is something I really cherish.

Cons

One area where I believe Summit could improve is in recognizing employee efforts more consistently. Acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the team can go a long way in boosting morale. Additionally, offering more competitive and timely raises would help reflect the value employees bring to the company.
