      Pros

      A lot of opportunity to learn about every part of the business. There are opportunities to volunteer with different departments during their peak season or shadow someone in a position you are interested in. The business has been successful for 150 years and the reason is clear!

      Cons

      Hard to move up in the company. It is easy to move from department to department, but it's more difficult to start as entry-level and move up

      Pros

      Great Company with many benefits including matching RRSP, health care benefits, yearly bonuses. Great people to work with. Lots of community involvement.

      Cons

      Very difficult situations to navigate on the phone. Majority of calls are negative and angry customers. Not a lot of support from immediate management. Not many opportunities for growth

      Pros

      I had an easy going team, but worked with a very difficult and demanding internal client. The IT infrastructure is great at Sun Life.

      Cons

      Didn't get support from senior management on some important issues, resulting in a very difficult working relationship with my client.
