Pros

Met some nice people there

Cons

Worse company I have ever worked for. Beat you down until you felt like a failure. Only told you what you did wrong. I never felt believed, trusted or wanted the 3 years I was there. Best day of my life was when I got laid off. A blessing really.

Pros

Great onboarding process for new employees Plenty of support from coworkers Will gain a lot of experience with customer service and knowledge on the equipment Will work with not only sales reps but service as well Great team atmosphere A ton of emphasis on safety for employees and customers

Cons

You can be easily overlooked since it is such a big company. No one will care about your tenure or how much experience you have under your belt If you work out in the field do not expect the support office to be "supportive". Most don't know what they are doing or just show little interest in helping. Don't expect timely (or none at all) responses if you reach out to some departments CRM they use called Wynne is extremely outdated and not user friendly Don't expect a lot of growth with this company especially if you don't have good connections with a higher up. You'll be expected to stay put until someone quits, retires, leaves, or gets fired The corporate office does whatever they want at any time. They will roll out new things for the field just to keep up with competition. No guidance or instructions all learn on the fly. If you do not enjoy customer service DO NOT TAKE A JOB IN THE FIELD. Depending on certain situations there can be a disconnect between inside sales, outside sales, and service. Each department is told different procedures and it will feel like no one is on the same page and nothing gets resolved. The issues get repeated. Certain accounts get away with way too much as far as billing and credit issues go and no one takes the time to investigate what happened before issuing a credit. Pay is not much for inside sales and benefits aren't that great

Pros

steady employment and ok benefits. great IT and internal crm & sales pro apps

Cons

profit share & commission plans are pathetic compared to what they used to be - both are now "fine tuned" to ensure your overall pay will fit nicely into a specific range that is predetermined. the days of a "barn burner" profit share or commission check are long gone. if you make too much money, you will negate their all important monthly "fall through". they no longer value building customer relationships and are more concerned with the info you log into the CRM. you can be a top revenue performer but if you don't log in the customer information that you worked to learn, you're considered to be not doing your job. they would rather pay several mediocre performers on the cheap than pay one highly compensated top performer - that goes for branch mgrs & sales reps some serious micro management on the RVP level. branch mgrs can no longer make major decisions without approval of the district mgr who has to ask the rvp. There is one RVP that is condescending and rude to the branch mgrs and sales team. not much room for advancement if you're not in the click have to rotate filling in on saturdays. they refuse to close some stores on saturdays despite it being the dead of winter and absolutely zero business. afraid to miss that carpet extractor rental
