First, I am very thankful to have begun working for this company directly after graduating from university in 2012. During my experiences working for Sunrise Services, Inc., I have received several opportunities for upward mobility, while receiving the support and acceptance of my coworkers and supervisors. Additionally, I have consistently felt respected and appreciated as an employee and person. Working for Sunrise Services, Inc. has allowed me to extensively learn about the social services field and the process of serving people with barriers to employment. I am confident that I will continue my professional career with Sunrise Services, Inc., as it has been a great company to work for.

Cons

The workload can be difficult to manage and satisfy at times. However, if an employee has an issue with completing their work, supervisors are consistently understanding and supportive.

I'm relatively new to Sunrise and the human services field, but I absolutely love it so far! I have worked with people through customer service roles in the past but I was looking for something that would allow me to work with people more one-on-one while also utilizing my education/degrees. Being a job coach/employment specialist with Sunrise has allowed me to meet some amazing people both in the office and in the field. It's nice to feel like your coworkers are also your friends and are there to help you succeed. I also love my clients and enjoy the opportunity to spend time getting to know them and hopefully make some sort of a positive impact on their lives. The hours and the flexibility this job allows me as a single mother is just what I was looking for and makes life much easier when attempting to raise a child while working and attending school full time. I love having the weekends off to spend with family!! I look forward to the future with Sunrise and any opportunities that may arise.

Cons

Do I have to say something here? I haven't been here long enough to have anything to complain about and I don't foresee any reason for that to change. A job is what you make it. If you walk in with the wrong attitude, you will never find anything "good" but if you make up your mind to use your position as a stepping stone to other opportunities and career paths, your experience will be a positive one :)

This company truly cares about the clients it serves and the employees. I LOVE my job here at Sunrise. There are numerous opportunities for advancement.

Cons

Big case loads. It is hard to spend the amount of time with clients that I would like.
