Great place to work.

Pros

For me, it’s my Ops Manger , Bill Baker. He is the epitome of a leader. He is there both personally and professionally. I never have a problem with asking for a day off. He has never got my pay wrong. I recently had a medical issue which he took part in by calling my wife and alerting her to the situation. Helped me tremendously.

Cons

Being contract security, we only get raises at contract time. Would like to see annual raises after a review. Would really help the strong officers and increase moral.

Pros

Great Pay and Benefits and almost easy transfer.

Cons

Management is scattered. I dont know who all my superiors are because Ive met so many inconsistently. I met someone named Mike today. Completely blew me off, but was friendly to everyone else.

Pros

Weekly pay, OT opportunities, work life balance

Cons

Some of the managers can be nasty at times even if you have a legitimate reason (documentation to accompany) for not being able to work. They act as if it’s the end of everything when it is THEIR responsibility to ensure enough employees to provide adequate coverage in emergent times. Life happens to everyone and when it does, it’s helpful to know that you have supportive management standing with you. For managers, it’s okay to extend compassion and grace with some empathy, because you’d want that for your bosses when life happens to you. People can’t control illness, surgery and death and they if the employee is providing documentation, the LAST thing they need during any of those times is the borderline harassment coupled with the attitude because YOU can’t maintain the contract.
