Pros

Plenty of overtime, Management can be helpful to those that deserve it.

Cons

Starting pay is $8.50 which means a few things firstly it severely limits the talent pool willing and able to do the job which causes personnel deficiency's. This leads to individuals working in positions who are more suited to waving a Liberty Tax sign on the side of the road rather than guarding sites that store several million dollars worth of merchandise and equipment. The high turnover rate means that those individuals who for one reason or another stay loyal to the company become overtaxed covering shifts at either their home site or multiple sites on multiple shifts sometimes in the same week. This type of environment fosters a beck and call type of personality when coverage is needed but how realistic is that for $8.50 an hour?

Not just a number

Pros

This is the first security company that I have worked for that didn't treat me like a number. They took the time to find out what I'm interested in and found a great site where I really fit in. I not only get visited by my manager but also other people from the branch office. They are interested in what I have to say and want to know how we can make things better.

Cons

No cons that I have experienced.

Pros

It is a paycheck- if you need one. Good part time job, but not something for a real career. It doesn't really pay a living wage.

Cons

Supervisors are retired cops, who are unprofessional and unfair to set up their employees for failure. Work environments are extremely hazardous. No saftey equipment for officers who have to do their patrols. Forget about career advancements- below adverage pay. Apopka, FL
