      Pros

      Pros of this job include the ample amounts of available overtime, online training modules, ability to train on teams including the Sunstates Mutual Aid Rapid Response Team (SMARRT), and a positive upper management staff.

      Cons

      The cons include a grossly lacking application process resulting in incompetent and under-qualified personnel being employed. There is little to no repercussions taken against employees that cannot perform/choose not to perform their job functions, and company is afraid to enact disciplinary action against employees. There is no foreseeable career growth with upper management being locked in, and there are no incentives to join programs such as the SMARRT team.

      The pay is okay, and the hiring process is rather easy.

      Does not care about the employee, as long as the shift covered.

      Large company that feels like a family run buisness.

      Pros

      Sunstates Security is a fast growing company but they still remember the employees. Every time I call any of the management team I am always greeted by name. They do a great job of looking after their employees both professionally and personally. I was encouraged to pursue a career and given the opportunity to do so.

      Cons

      I have not had a bad experience with working with Sunstates Security.
