Pros

I've worked for several different companies as a LPC. I have to say this is the absolute best company I've ever worked for! I never dread going to work. Not only is work-life amazing, but my supervisor, Stacey Thompson, is a dream! I've worked at so many companies, with upper management only communicating with demands or complaints. Not here! I finally feel respected. Gone are the days of severe anxiety--fearing what my boss needs when I receive a phone call, email or text. This job is the breathe of fresh air I needed. What a wonderful feeling to be providing happiness to those in nursing home facilities, and working for a company that cares. I go to bed happy, every night, knowing I made a difference in someone's day.

Cons

Absolutely zero cons! I have nothing but positive remarks to make about this company. They truly care about their employees!

Pros

As a clinical psychologist with over four years of experience in the field, I am honored to share my insights into The Supportive Care, a company committed to fostering positive change and enhancing the mental well-being of individuals. From the moment I joined The Supportive Care, I was struck by the organization's unwavering dedication to client-centered care. Each member of the team, from clinicians to administrative staff, operates with a shared ethos of compassion, empathy, and professionalism. This ethos forms the foundation of our approach, ensuring that every individual who walks through our proverbial doors receives personalized, evidence-based treatment tailored to their unique needs. One of the most remarkable aspects of The Supportive Care is its holistic approach to mental health care. We understand that true healing encompasses more than just addressing symptoms; it requires addressing the underlying factors contributing to distress. Through comprehensive assessments and collaborative treatment planning, we empower our clients to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth, exploring the intricate interplay between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. What sets The Supportive Care apart is its commitment to innovation and continuous improvement. Our team stays abreast of the latest research and therapeutic modalities, integrating cutting-edge techniques into our practice to ensure the highest quality of care. Whether it's implementing mindfulness-based interventions, utilizing teletherapy platforms to increase accessibility, or incorporating art and expressive therapies into treatment, we strive to meet the diverse needs of our clients with creativity and flexibility. In conclusion, as a clinical psychologist who has had the privilege of working with The Supportive Care, I can wholeheartedly attest to the organization's commitment to excellence and its unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those we serve. From our client-centered approach to our innovative treatment modalities and collaborative spirit, The Supportive Care embodies the values of compassion, integrity, and resilience. Cons

As a behavioral health professional, one may encounter ethical dilemmas related to client confidentiality, boundaries, and treatment decisions, which can be morally challenging to navigate.

Pros

I have been working at Supportive Care for almost 4 years. I originally had hesitation in working in a nursing/ rehab center, but found I love it and now work full time. It is very rewarding to help people in their time of need, such as during injury or illness. The staff at the facilities and the staff at Supportive Care are very engaging and willing to help in anyway they can. You can also make your own schedule, which is great so I can be home in time to get my kids off the school bus. Another thing I like about this position is that you don’t have to be concerned with client no-shows since if a resident is out at an activity or an appointment you can see someone else since there are plenty of residents to see! I feel like this job has been rewarding in so many ways and I feel happy going to work everyday knowing I am making a difference in people’s lives.

Cons

It can be sad to see people in pain or dying, but it is very rewarding being there for someone during this time.
