Maturing

Pros

Interesting, complex market. Higher than average talent density. Some truly exceptional people. Basic salary is competitive. Good opportunities to grow if you actively seek them out. Work from home policy provides good balance of getting things done versus staying plugged in.

Cons

Annual "merit" increase barely keeps pace with inflation. Company is going through a transition period to a larger, more mature, process driven organization. Some bumps expected. Getting formal approvals can be very labor intensive.

Pros

Compensation is pretty good, work from home option is nice

Cons

The people they are bringing in as managers and directors are awful. They're all about putting the blame on their employees and they have created a hostile work environment. It's depressing going to work every Monday. I pray for a new job all day, every day.
