Management disaster in Radiology

Pros

nice staff and technologist, facilities are well kept.

Cons

Staff is too dependent on x-ray students at facility, often left alone in the department. Manager is horrible to staff and students. Between wacked out radiologist and incompetent manager, I would never suggest anyone go there.

Pros

If you select the employer insurance option it is no cost to the employee and their immediate family (spouse, children - unlimited number at that). Great for families.

Cons

If you are single or have no children your compensation package is actually smaller then if you had immediate family members.

Pros

The recruiters do a great job at attracting you to a position and screening information about you and whether you would be the right fit.

Cons

I had different recruiters from different areas calling about the same time. Poor organization techniques. Anyway, this place is a hot mess. Managers overlook the cliques and do not discipline poor behavior. New blood to the organization is not always acceptable. They need more tactical and better training programs. Just because someone knows what it is and how its done; does not always mean the situation is always going to be the same.
