Pros

Easy store maintenance Good computer software Specific in how they want you to sell their product Coworkers are typically nice, also there is no commission so people may get along better due to this.

Cons

Their sales strategy is outdated and unrealistic They don't really give a jewelry allowance, but expect you to buy/wear the product, they want you to wear layered jewelry as well, when it is extremely expensive and you are not paid nearly enough to afford it, it is very difficult to wear multiple pieces. They give an allocation every couple months but that does not pay for the entire jewelry, you end up having to buy. Which is abnormal considering the product itself has an extremely high mark up percentage and does not cost much to make. There is not much opportunity to move up, corporate does not listen to stores and increases sales plans even if stores did not meet the demand the previous year. You have a sales plan but do not receive commission, no positive motivation to sell. You get punished by being written up if you do not make sales plans. Every employee was written up one month when no one made their sales plans, if no one is making a sales plan then it is management that needs to figure out what is going on with business. Did not receive a raise when I became a key holder. I also became a key holder after 3 months, which was faster than anyone else.

Pros

Managers have a great discount Learned a lot about Crystals Fun people

Cons

Slow boring and again slow and boring...hardly ever had sales, now with a new VP finally there are sale items, promotions and a rewards program after 3 failed attempts at others. They push designer signing events with no discounts and constantly calling clients to come in and shop they are constantly being harassed. They need to realign hierarchy in store to asst manager and key holders. If all Brand Ambassadors are equal there is no reason for anyone to succeed to motivate to achieve anything other than a monthly bonus. it doesn't make sense. Jewelry does not stay current with trends as often as it should. It is stagnant and need upgrading.

Pros

Beautiful product is what got me to apply and fun clients is what keep me there so long.

Cons

Not genuine, district manager will say what ever to get you in the door with promises of moving up within the company. Very caty work place, store manager unprofessional heard her many times through out working there talk poorly gossiping of personal manners of different employees then was told if repeated they would deny the whole thing. Pay is not what it should be for the amount of responsibility given they ask for alot with very little pay and annual raises are a complete joke they will give you .10 cents( if you're lucky) for being a top seller and treat you as if you should be so grateful for that. reviews are a joke i was told that i was the best at a certain area that to keep up the good work but she wasnt allowed to give me the top score in that area because no one is allowed to have that????
