Pros

I worked at Swatch for 8 years. I enjoyed my Job and the co-workers I worked with.

Cons

Issues that we escalated to upper management most times took to long for resolution. The last 3 years major changes were taken place, relocating certain depts. out of state. Assured some depts. will not be moved. They lied.

Pros

It's a pretty high energy place to work, which is great if you're a people person. The product is great quality for a low price, and who doesn't like that? Uniform is casual, so you are allowed to wear sneakers, but they're strict on the style and colors now. If you're a full time employee, you do receive Healthcare Benefits.

Cons

Growth: There IS none. They NEVER promote within the company and constantly hire horrible management. Sadly, dead end job. It's just retail. There really is no one on this planet that can actually say that they love working retail. It gets a bill or two paid, I guess. The Customers: We get some great customers, but only when they're not too busy literally ripping watches off of fixtures and wall panels before you even get to open your mouth. The stores are always filled with people asking for sales, like Swatch isn't already RIDICULOUSLY AFFORDABLE. I always get the, "Swatch is still around?"customers like they don't clearly see that they walked into a Swatch establishment, like HELLOOOOO. I'm tired of the, "These watches used to be $30," customers. Like they can't clearly see that everything has changed and it's not just the brittle, hard plastic watch anymore. Uniforms: THE APRONS GOTTA GO. I don't work in a restaurant taking orders. What the hell am I putting watches and clips into an apron for? We look RIDICULOUS and no one takes us seriously. Work/Life Balance: Working here really eats up A LOT of your life, so there really is no work/life balance. Policies and procedures are not being implemented, and we have to fight just to get a damn PTO approved, which is ridiculous. Corporate is a JOKE. No one knows what the hell they're doing and they haven't had their stuff together since before they moved to Miami. No one is ever on the same page. A travesty. I. Am. TIREDT.

Pros

You are paid fairly, it's an overall easy job, and they provide you with a lot of food.

Cons

The uniforms are aweful, the managers are on you about everything, and you have to be able to deal with a lot of dumb people.
