Pros

Amazing employees. Some of my favorite people I have ever met, nonetheless work with, have been at Swoon, There is opportunity for advancement but you do have to work hard and prove yourself. Great opportunity to make a lot of money as well. The work environment is fun as well- mainly because of the people! The benefits are great too. You start off with 4 weeks vacation, 2 floating holidays, and 5 sick days. They also pay for your health insurance so nothing comes out of your pay.

Cons

Staffing is a tough industry and honestly is not for everyone. Your first year is definitely the toughest as you are trying to meet metrics, build relationships, and build out your book of business. However, the long term pay out makes it worth it. Like most staffing firms, there is a good amount of turnover but as mentioned before, people quickly find out if it is or isn't the right industry for them.

Not the best organization

Pros

Building close relationships with your direct reports will be crucial. Tight knit team. You can make pretty good money if you succeed.

Cons

Higher level leadership doesn't care about you. They only care about themselves. No matter the work you put in, nothing is ever good enough. The company talks about boosting morale however they say that at a high level but nothing is done. They want to work flexible but schedule 8am meetings. Sales leadership is micromanaging and consistently gives back handed compliments and calls people out in meetings/emails to embarrass them. Overall this causes extreme burnout even with their most successful employees.

Pros

Great coworkers and managers. Welcoming, inclusive and feedback-oriented culture. You can make a good amount of money. Lots of "give back" initiatives to local communities they operate in. Remote work opportunities. Ambitious and transparent goals. We provide a truly valuable service to our clients.

Cons

Not really a con, but management is in the process of implementing a new performance measurement system. It'll be really useful in the long run, but there are some kinks to iron out in the meantime. Also wish we had access to 401k contributions sooner.
