Pros

When I first joined which was in the middle of the pandemic, it was everything I needed at the time since the world was in pure chaos. A job where I could work remotely from anywhere and make decent money was exactly what I needed.

Cons

Micro-managing- Managers will track what time your signing on and off regardless of performance. No work life balance: its EXPECTED of employees to work long nights and weekends. If you’re not doing so leadership will say you’re not in it to win it. No diversity: The company loves to brag about being a woman run business, but all the women in positions of power are White. There are about 5 Black employees TOTAL at the company. Very few Brown or Asian faces as well. Metrics: The metrics are impossible to reach. They do not care about the market or trends you’re expected to perform. No room for growth: Theres absolutely no opportunity for growth here. Constant changes: I had 6 managers in less than 4 years. I was once told by a member of leadership that I did not make “f*ck you money” so my opinion did not matter. It’s a toxic environment.

Pros

Base salary was good at the time

Cons

I periodically like to validate my work trauma with others’ reviews and this has been quite cathartic for me. A few years later and it’s all the same as what I experienced. Unrealistic expectations followed by a PIP with completely incomprehensible metrics, followed by a forced quit because I voiced I “wasn’t sure the PIP expectations were achievable”. If I knew then what I know now, I should have let them fire me so I could at least collect unemployment. I was Hired as an account manager with promises of certain accounts, that turned very quickly into straight biz dev in an entirely untouched market, with little to no recruitment support. Completely unrealistic expectations with zero support from leadership, no database of targets, no access to information to prospect. This job really made me reconsider my abilities back then, but I know now it was a bigger issue they’ve still yet to rectify.

Pros

Was great before beginning of 2023

Cons

New leadership in 2023 has created a toxic work environment. Bullying behavior, employees are stressed and communication is limited. There is no work life balance and the stress of the job trickles down from the top. My mental health struggled due to this job and many of my colleagues felt the same. Any recent positive reviews were due to leadership being instructed to write them. I can’t see this company lasting much longer.
