Benefits of the job is working with kids. Some of the parents are nice but there’s more headache parents too.

Cons

No quality of life. The hrs required to work are horrible along with the pay. Doesn’t pay for the amount work they demand. Directors 42-48k Teacher 11-15 admin 10-11

Micromanaging issues at the Greater Austin Sylvans

You really get to help kids and families get the academic help needed to finally catch up in an area they've been behind in for years. Highly recommend Sylvan for getting the academic job done!

Cons

Micromanaging has stopped the creativity of the directors and made the job focus too much on data management and bringing in the buck.
